A little habitual
Wonder what it is about my inner-self that can sit and listen to the same song at least 10 times? I don’t do it all the time but enough to where it’s noticeable. I just listened to Razor by Foo Fighters and I’m Not Over by Carolina Liar at least 12 times over and over.
I think my record might be listening to a certain Kanye West song nearly 30 times in one sitting until it annoyed Nicole and my sister to such a degree they called me out on it.
Then again, looking at my iPod I’ve listened to this song more times than I have songs on my iPod.

Taking things back a step
So, I went ahead and made my blog a lot simpler. The previous wpelements theme that I had customized to my liking/flavor proved too time-consuming in the realm of making a post. Custom thumbnails and other such things, while very gratifying, made making simple updates somewhat burdensome when I was short on time and without the time to open Photoshop, find an image to go along with my ramblings and all of that business.
So, really in the end, blogging isn’t about sweet layouts, it’s about the blogging. With this layout, I just login and post, and vwahla. I hath blogged.
As for this week, I’ll be west-river as they call it in the Dakotas, spending my time with both my family and Nicole’s family. Haven’t been to the Black Hills for a long while save a quick trip I made to Deadwood a few years back. Should be fun to have Nicoles family and my family together in the middle of the South Dakota wilderness telling embarassing stories that my parents swore they’d never repeat on penalty of severe punishment to my future in-laws.
I led a very embarassment riddled childhood so we shall see….
